AG Walter Woon-Mother of all Kangaroo's been called-up by LKY-Father of all Kangaroo's to file an appeal.To save the face of the AG,for sure Judge John Ng decision will be null and void.Poor Judge Ng,don't know where he will be posted after this.

Appeal to prove what?

That five persons walking on pedestrian walkways occasionally giving out flyers to unwilling passerbys is "procession" that "endangers the peace", etc?

Wouldn't its success only show how much the higher court needed to unlearn pedantry and learn common justice from the younger judge? - "child is father of man".

Come, come, AG. Such citizens who care enough to take risk for an altruistic course are so rare that even our leaders have acknowledged our dire need to foster the "entrepreneur spirit" of daring to risk, etc.

Such people, surely are prominent among the citizens and their lifestyle our judiciary is meant to enable and defend, rather than such as those sickly passers-by who think they keep the peace by quickly walking the other way just in case ISD was nearby recording who accepted a flyer!

Part 2 of the wayang is unfolding. Part 1 - judge acquits SDP members. Part 2 - AGC appeals. Part 3 - judge's decision overturned. Part 4 - SDP members found guilty and are fined/jailed. The plot is numbingly predictable. Now who says our courts are not independent and that kangaroos preside over them?

yes we have to observe the unfoldings of this drama, obviously oechestrated by our usual suspect (you know who)

Due process. Right.

But my heart goes out to Mr John Ng. He is destined never to become John Ng J, and people are still claiming that he's a kangaroo judge.

AG Walter Woon is a spineless man bought over by the PAP government. He was once a strong critic of the PAP system when he was lecturer in NUS.

Money blinds his moral direction in life.

To file for an appeal which the DJ had already ruled in favour of SDP, AG is just wasting taxpayers' $$.

AG may have forgotten that he's being paid by the taxpayers not the ruling party?
