Young Singaporeans, this is your chance of a lifetime

Tired of being seen and not heard? Sick of being bullied by the PAP?

Then you’ll be glad to know that there’ll be An International Youth Conference for Democracy to be held at the Carlton Hotel in Singapore on 26 July 2003.

This is your chance to meet with young members of parliament, activists and students from across the world and to talk about the role of the youth in today’s democracy. Speakers from Australia, Burma, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and, of course, Singapore will share their experiences in the global struggle for democracy.

This is the first time that Singapore is playing host to such an international political event. You’d be crazy not to seize the opportunity and be part of this historic occasion event.

As soon as we get the permit from the authorities, we will make another announcement to tell you how to register for the conference. So watch this space! See you on 26 July…
