Democrats Go Hawaiian originally planned for 30 Aug 08 is postponed by a day to 31 Aug, Sunday. The reason is because of last minute problems at the originally scheduled venue.
Planning is going full steam ahead and the organising committee is looking forward to staging the event which will bring together our friends, supporters, and well-wishers.
A few of our very own activists also happen to be talented musicians and will serenade dinners with a few of their favourites. Of course, no Hawaiian night out would be complete without a hula contest. There’ll be a lucky draw too (okay, okay, that’s Singaporean but like they say, when in Rome…).
So pick up a ticket if you haven’t already and join us for an evening of fun and entertainment. Don’t forget to wear something from the Land of the Aloha. There’ll be a lucky draw, too.
