SDP to hold public forum on ELD saga

Many questions have been raised regarding the police investigation of Ms Teo Soh Lung and Mr Roy Ngerng over their posting of comments on Cooling-Off Day during the Bukit Batok by-election. The public is confused and concerned about the perplexing actions of the Elections Department and the police over the matter.

The SDP will hold a public forum ‘Feeling The Heat on Cooling-off Day: Clampdown on Freedom of Expression’ to further deliberate on this matter and to discuss the impartiality – or the lack of it – of the way Cooling-off Day regulations are applied.

Join us at our forum and hear from our speakers why this issue concerns our future and how we can protect it.
