The Alliance for Reform and Democracy in Asia (ARDA) has launched its brand new website www.asiademocracy.org.
The organisation, whose Chairman is Dr Chee Soon Juan, is “dedicated to advancing human rights, democracy, and the rule of law across Asia and throughout the world.”
ARDA comprises of members from more than 18 countries from Asia and beyond. It recently sent teams of obesrvers to monitor elections in Malaysia and Hong Kong. It is also heavily involved in campaigning for democracy in Burma. ARDA is also working to free some dissidents in Vietnam for spreading information about human rights and democracy.
