It is interesting to note that Channel NewsAsia has the clumsiest and most sophisticated photographic equipment among the media. Its conscientious photographer takes the most strategic spot at every press conference i.e. at the centre of the room.
But the hard work of the photographer is not matched by the length of footage on television at newstime. This evening, CNA gave about 40 minutes of newstime to the PAP at 9 pm, 10 pm and 11 pm news telecasts. It gave the SDP just about three minutes – at10 pm. The PAP and WP appeared in all three telecasts.
Shoulder on SDP! Self reliance is the way!
